There is more to this blog than just writing about the pod.
I am a fan of biking, not over the top racing on expensive two-wheelers and wearing fancy ole bike shirts...plain old get on your bike and look at what is around you. There are lots of things to be discovered this way. Yesterday I was joined by my 10 year old daughter and we found The Kennebec River Rail Trail which starts in Augusta(Maine) and ends in Gardiner. Thirteen miles round trip mostly flat, nicely shaded in some spots, the trail follows the Kennebec River. We saw numerous varieties of wild flowers, raspberries and a patch of giant what looked like rhubarb -but was not-plant. The trail passes through Hallowell which offers up fun shops and a spot to get ice cream at.
Maine is new to me, I have only lived here for two years now, finding these undiscovered jewels makes my heart happy.
